Ecotourism can be defined by "Responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment, sustains the well-being of the local people, and involves interpretation and education."(TIES, 2015). Originated in the 1980s, ecotourism strived to an uprising theme of tourism and channeled it into revenue to use for conservation and development of new areas.

Ecotourism's initial goal was to channel revenue from tourists to put back into the environment to conserve wildlife populations and the environment. Whether its as simple as a stroll through a park or exploring the worlds beautiful sites and creatures, there's something to gain other than entertainment and its a benefit that not only effects you positively but can end up effecting

One of the many impacts ecotourism has on Humans rather than the animals and environment is the opportunities it creates. For example Ecotourism can create Jobs In popular area of tourism like guides and hospitality jobs. Also Ecotourism brings tourists to communities which then turns into an economic snowball. Tourism is already a great revenue fro striving parts of the world so participating in safe ecotourism could benefit a community lacking revenue and economically behind in certain aspects .
